We offer preventative grub control treatments to keep these pests from damaging your turf.

Grubs can cause a lot of damage to your lawn if they are left to their own devices. Fortunately, we won’t let that happen! At Precision Lawn & Landscape, we offer preventative grub control treatments to keep these root-feeding pests from damaging your turf in the first place, which we’ll apply in June/early July to get ahead of when they hatch. However, it takes more than these treatments to keep your lawn at its best, so they are available as part of our lawn care program. With this program, you’ll also receive fertilization, weed control, and a lime application!

We use preventative grub control treatments to keep grubs from harming your lawn in the first place.

Grub Control

The best way to deal with grubs is to keep them from becoming a problem in the first place. That’s why we offer preventative grub control treatments. These treatments are applied across your lawn and will seep into the soil to eliminate newly hatched grubs and any eggs. That way, it prevents these pests from feeding on the roots of your grass, so you won’t have to worry about them harming your lawn.

When do we apply our preventative grub control treatments?

Grubs start to hatch in August, and we want to ensure we get ahead of that. So, we’ll apply our preventative grub control treatments in June/early July. By administering our treatment before they hatch, it ensures that it has enough time to seep into the soil and do its job.

While we’ve never had grubs infest a lawn after our preventative grub control treatment, we’ll apply a curative for free if they manage to do so on yours.

We Offer Our Grub Control Treatments as Part of Our Lawn Care Program

While our preventative grub control treatments are highly effective at preventing these root-feeding pests from damaging your lawn, it takes more than that to keep it at its healthiest and most beautiful. Because of this, we offer these treatments as part of our lawn care program!

This program starts in the spring, between late February-April 1st, and ends in the winter, between December 15th-January 30th. During this time, we’ll routinely apply fertilization and pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments to provide all the essential nutrients it needs to bolster healthy, verdant grass growth and robust root development while ensuring weeds can’t get the upper hand. What’s more, it also includes a lime application to improve the overall quality of your soil! That way, you won’t just boast a grub-free lawn, but a healthy, lush, weed-free one, too!
